Platform Developer (Healthcare)
Location: Martinez, CA hybrid 2 days onsite
Duration: 6 Months Contract To Hire

 Must Haves:
  • Must have 6+ months in healthcare
  • CS degree or related field
  • Platform Development
  • Two systems ITSM, Ivanti heat intercontact, IVR
  • Heat will be replaced by Service Now in the next couple years
  • All three systems have in common a workflow for low code, no code, config, can add custom scripting, Java Script or ECMA
  • Need JavaScript REALLY Important
  • Dealing with SaaS, low code, no code, and custom JavaScript
Summary:
  • Our healthcare client is seeking a Platform Developer with strong experience in low-code/no-code platforms and JavaScript scripting to support and enhance their enterprise IT systems.
  • This is a contract-to-hire role with a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to work on impactful projects in a mission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure and customize low-code/no-code platforms to support ITSM workflows and automation.
  • Develop and maintain custom scripts using JavaScript (ECMAScript) to extend platform functionality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement onboarding workflows and task automation.
  • Support and enhance existing platforms including Ivanti Heat and Intercontact IVR, with a future migration to ServiceNow.
  • Work closely with business units like Labor Relations to build custom fields and workflows tailored to their needs.
  • Integrate SaaS applications using REST/SOAP APIs and ensure secure role-based access control (RBAC).
  • Analyze and optimize data models, reporting, and dashboarding using SQL and scripting tools.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience in platform development or enterprise application engineering.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript (required).
  • Hands-on experience with low-code/no-code platforms and workflow automation.
  • Familiarity with ITSM/ITOM systems such as Ivanti, ServiceNow, or similar.
  • Experience with SaaS application configuration and API integrations.
  • Solid understanding of SQL, data modeling, and reporting tools.
  • Background in healthcare IT is required.

  • Scripting: JavaScript, Python, PowerShell
  • Data Tools: SSIS, Talend, Boomi, SnapLogic
  • Monitoring: PagerDuty, Datadog, SumoLogic
  • Cloud: Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform
