Description
We are in search of a Scrum Master to join our retail division. As a Scrum Master, you will play a crucial role in leading and driving the transformation of Agile teams within our organization. This position is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to apply their skills in defining, implementing, and iterating Agile processes to foster team collaboration, deliver high-value outcomes, and drive continuous efficiency improvement.
Responsibilities:
Facilitate key Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and sprint demos.
Define Agile processes tailored to the specific needs of the team and organization.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and eliminate impediments to Agile delivery.
Promote transparency and accountability by managing Agile artifacts, such as product backlogs, sprint backlogs, and burn-down charts.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by defining and collecting agile team stats, conducting sprint retrospectives, and making iterative process adjustments.
Act as a servant leader and coach for Agile teams, guiding them in self-organization and cross-functionality.
Work closely with Product Owners, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of goals and deliverables.
Facilitate clear communication and expectation management across all levels of the organization.
Continuously evaluate and refine Agile practices to address team-specific challenges and align with organizational goals.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging Agile methodologies, incorporating relevant innovations.
Requirements
Proficient in Agile Scrum methodologies and principles.
Certified SAFe Agilist or equivalent experience.
Extensive experience with JIRA for project management.
Proficient in Confluence for team collaboration.
Previous experience in a Scrum Master role within the retail industry.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Demonstrated problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
Understanding of software development lifecycle processes.
Ability to facilitate and encourage collaboration among team members.
Capable of fostering a continuous learning environment.
Proven ability to guide teams to remove impediments and navigate obstacles.
Ability to facilitate effective Scrum ceremonies.
Capacity to coach teams on Agile principles and Scrum practices.
Willingness to stay updated on new Scrum tools and techniques.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.
