Job Details

As a Network Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's network infrastructure. Leveraging your leadership skills and technical expertise, you will lead a team of network engineers and administrators to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of the company's network systems.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a team of network engineers and administrators, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement network strategies and roadmaps aligned with business objectives and industry best practices.
  • Manage the design, deployment, and maintenance of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation and reliability.
  • Implement security measures to protect the network from cyber threats and unauthorized access.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess network requirements and propose solutions to meet business needs.
  • Oversee network capacity planning and scalability efforts to accommodate business growth and expansion.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards related to network security and data privacy.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend and implement innovative solutions.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in network engineering or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, VLANs, OSPF, BGP, etc.).
  • Experience with network security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, etc.).
  • Proficiency in network hardware and software configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are preferred.
