Job Details
Lead a team of 10 engineers delivering multidisciplinary solutions to clients. Focus on team development, project execution, and client engagement.
Core Responsibilities:
- Team Development: Mentor staff, manage performance reviews, support onboarding, and guide career growth.
- Business Development: Write proposals, build client relationships, and coordinate technical input to win new work.
- Staffing & Resource Planning: Assign projects, manage schedules, forecast utilization, and support hiring decisions.
- Project Oversight: Manage scope, budget, and timelines; ensure quality deliverables and clear communication.
- Training & Standards: Maintain training plans and support technical standards across disciplines.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of engineering disciplines (controls, electrical, mechanical, civil/structural, piping).
- Proven leadership, project management, and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects exceeding $1M annually.
- Minimum 5 years of engineering/design experience; 10 years preferred in manufacturing.
- Bachelor's degree in Process or Chemical Engineering preferred.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- 60-75% office-based; 25-40% in shop or manufacturing settings.
- Must be able to travel, walk long distances, and work extended hours during site visits.
