Enterprise Project Manager - budgeting, forecasting & financial planning
13 Months Contract
Location: ONSITE ROLE > 4 DAYS/WEEK IN BURBANK
Description
The EPM (Enterprise Performance Management) Project Manager is responsible for leading the overall coordination, direction, and management of complex IT projects across the organization. The role is responsible for overseeing multiple project teams, and ensuring successful delivery of Enterprise Technology services that align with organizational objectives.
This role will lead matrixed project teams and 3rd party resources.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for overseeing the planning and execution of large-scale, complex implementation projects
- Works independently, receives minimal guidance, and leads through influence
- Responsible to a Project Management Office (PMO) consisting of a matrixed set of resources
- Consistently works with the leadership and finance teams to control project expenditures against the project operating expense and capital budgets
- Collaborates closely with partners across the organization including business partners, other technology partners and delivery managers
- Interfaces with key partners and vendors, ensuring they understand both project and project deliverables, meet timing, and cost deadlines, and collaborate with internal project stakeholders to achieve project results
- Actively leads project planning and overall strategy, to include resource needs identification
- Actively leads in establishing and tracking progress to key performance indicators
- Responsible for evaluating and tracking overall project health and status; producing actionable insights
- Identifies and ensures Risks, Actions, Issues and Decisions (RAID) are logged and actioned; works with project management and execution team to resolve items
- Proactively identifies and actively leads in the resolution of issues and conflicts
- Responsible for escalations to leadership and to vendors as appropriate to drive results
- Leads/participates in sourcing and contracting activities
- Continually apprises leadership and relevant business stakeholders of status and anything not on track
- Communicates successes supported by metrics/KPIs illustrating the business value of IT solutions
- Ensures clear communication of project scopes, timing, prioritization, budgets, resource needs, and progress on an ongoing basis
- Exemplary communication and presentation skills, both oral and written
- Ability to communicate well to both technical and business audiences
Basic Qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant experience leading large projects and global teams with 5+ project management resources
- 8 years in a technology leadership role in a corporate environment of a similar size/complexity
- Financial Planning experience (budgeting, forecasting)
- Experience leading large, matrixed project teams including architects, developers, operations, PMs, business analysts, and vendor partners
- Experience in leading inter-organization change to increase efficiency through the implementation of technology
- Experience managing project, project and team budget and financials
- Experience with security and compliance
- Proven track record of execution - driving results and meeting commitments
- Oracle EPM (Budgeting & Financial Planning) experience preferred but not required
- Experience establishing and driving strategy and design for, and implementing and/or upgrading major ERP/Finance platforms preferred

BS/BA
The estimated pay range for this position is USD $95.00/hr - USD $102.00/hr and is an Exempt role.
