Job Details

Our team drives the core architectural vision for all IT initiatives, acting as the primary technical bridge between business goals and execution across a diverse technology landscape. We are seeking a Solution Architect to act as a strategic partner between Business and IT, defining roadmaps, developing best practices, and supporting the design of scalable, integrated systems.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Data Architect, and engineering teams to provide technical leadership and guide development through defined architectural principles.
  • Own solution design, documentation (diagrams/standards), and technical governance for projects spanning Application Development, Infrastructure, and Business Technology (e.g., AI/Palantir, Azure.
  • Lead technical discussions with business unit stakeholders across Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations to translate high-level needs into actionable, architecture-aligned requirements.
  • Design solution architectures that align with business objectives, technology strategies, and enterprise standards.
  • Develop strategies, roadmaps, and governance frameworks to support enterprise-wide architecture consistency.
  • Conduct architectural assessments and identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Deliver architectural blueprints, standards, and best practices that ensure consistency and technical integrity across the company s IT asset catalog.
  • Support multiple projects running simultaneously, ensuring consistency and technical integrity.

Qualifications

Seeking an experienced technologist who has five plus years in a Solution Architecture role designing and implementing solutions across App Dev, Infrastructure, Cloud, ERP, CRM, etc.

Required

  • Broad background in systems supporting a variety of operational groups including Supply Chain, Finance, HR, and Operations.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for optimization and develop technology strategies, roadmaps, and governance standards.
  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks and software development methodologies.
  • Solid understanding of diverse technologies including Cloud, ERP systems, integrations, databases, and reporting tools.

Preferred

  • Experience in manufacturing, food and beverage, or energy industries.
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Other

  • Manage and support multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring technical integrity and consistency.
  • Clearly articulate technical solutions to business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Influence cross-functional teams to foster team interaction and drive consensus.
  • Critical analysis and problem-solving skills to define current and future-state requirements.

Details

  • Six month contract to hire
  • Office: 3 days per week in Merriam, KS headquarters.
  • Salary range: $130,000 - $140,000 base plus up to 15% annual bonus
