Job Details

Job Title: HCM Business Analyst

Work Arrangement: Remote

Duration: 12 months

Client: State of North Carolina

Education and Experience Recommended

  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Computer Science, or a related field from an appropriately accredited institution
  • Minimum of five years of experience in a lead, functional/technical, or similar role focused on Human Resources/Human Capital Management (HCM), with responsibilities including the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of cloud-based solutions; talent management experience is a plus
  • Proven ability to bridge the gap between people management and digital solutions

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Recommended

  • Comprehensive HCM Knowledge: In-depth understanding of HR practices, compliance regulations, and industry best practices
  • Organizational Insight (Preferred): Familiarity with the organizational structure of the state, including the distinction between organizational roles and user roles, and how these entities interact
  • SaaS Platform Expertise: Proficiency with HCM SaaS platforms such as Oracle Cloud HCM, Workday, or SAP SuccessFactors
  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated experience in solution design and configuration, data mapping, use of reporting tools, and integration technologies; thorough understanding and application of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Communication Skills: Ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders; skilled in facilitating meetings and discussions with end-users, business owners, and project teams
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for troubleshooting system issues and identifying effective solutions
  • Collaboration and Facilitation: Proven success working in cross-functional teams that include HR business owners, IT developers, and project managers
