Typical task breakdown:
- Financial analysis for capital projects
- Submitting major projects into a system for approval
- Managing POs and spending for those projects as they execute
- Month-end closing activities to clean up system grief, create journal entries, accruals, explain monthly variances, create reporting presentations/slides
Top 3 Skills:
- Ability to work independently and manage one s time.
- Ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles to work as needed.
- Ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses.
Technical Skills:
- Highly skilled with Excel/PowerPoints
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- 3+ years of experience working with capital investment analysis, product cost analysis, business proposal analysis, or similar
- 3+ years of financial reporting and monthly closing activities
- CMA or CPA certified
- Skilled in Microsoft Access
- Skilled with Power BI and other analysis tools
Soft Skills:
- Ability to learn new systems quickly
- Ability to work under the pressure of tight deadlines.
Education & Experience:
- 4-year bachelor s degree required
- Preferred to be concentrated on accounting, but would consider Business Management
