Senior Python Developer

Our team is growing, and we re searching for a Sr. Python AWS Developer who is a creative problem-solver with their fingertips on the latest industry practices to help our clients achieve digital realization. You ll join a group of industry veterans, blending the power of tried-and-true methods with cutting-edge technologies. We prioritize authentic partnerships in a collaborative environment, and we re excited to welcome a Sr. Python AWS Developer who is eager to bring their expertise to our team.

Responsibilities

• Work with serverless cloud services to create integrations, APIs endpoints and related components
• Work on features and POCs with industry-leading technologies and tools
• Work on greenfield space to shape the modernization efforts for the analytics ecosystem
• Create automated tests for functional, performance, and security in order to ensure flexibility over time.
• Work alongside multiple lines of business and platform teams
• Create custom integrations between existing Vanguard tools, AWS components, and vendor products.
• Attend all scrum events
  Help in the creation, refinement, completion, and testing of Stories
  Collaborate well with team members and people from other teams
  Work effectively and efficiently unsupervised

Qualifications

• AWS Core Services: Cloudformation, DynamoDB, S3, IAM, Glue, Athena, Kinesis, Secret Manager
• AWS Serverless Infrastructure: Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, API Gateway
• Scripting & Programming: Python, React, TypeScript, Java
• Python testing: PyTest; Behave; Hypothesis
• Experience:
  Platform engineering: Creating solutions which provision resources on behalf of clients.
  Nice to have:
  Azure and Terraform experience
