Job Description

We are seeking a Senior SAP ABAP S/4 HANA Developer (10–12+ years) with strong expertise in architecting, developing, and optimising applications in SAP ECC/S/4HANA environments. The ideal resource will lead technical development efforts, work closely with stakeholders, and ensure high-quality delivery of SAP solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end development of ABAP solutions, including reports, enhancements, interfaces, workflows, BAPIs, BADIs, SmartForms/Adobe Forms.
  • Architect and develop HANA-optimised code, including CDS Views, AMDP, HANA SQL Script, and performance-tuned ABAP solutions.
  • Design, build, and optimise OData services for SAP Fiori/UI5 applications.
  • Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentor junior developers.
  • Collaborate with functional teams across MM, SD, FI, PP, WM, and other modules to translate requirements into technical specifications.
  • Troubleshoot complex system issues, root-cause production defects, and ensure system stability.
  • Lead integration efforts involving IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, and interfaces with external systems.
  • Produce high-quality technical documents (design specs, test plans, deployment guides).
  • Participate in SAP S/4HANA upgrade, migration, or greenfield implementation initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10–12+ years of SAP ABAP development experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, AMDP, HANA SQL, and performance tuning.
  • Expertise in building and optimising OData services for Fiori/UI5.
  • Extensive experience with IDocs, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, Enhancements, BDC, RFCs.
  • Strong experience with SmartForms/Adobe Forms.
  • Proven ability to lead development teams and deliver large-scale SAP projects.
  • Excellent debugging, optimisation, and problem-solving skills.
  • SAP S/4HANA implementation or upgrade experience.
  • SAP BTP, CAPM, UI5/Fiori full-stack experience.
  • Experience with SAP Data Migration tools (LSMW, BODS, BDC).
  • Agile/Scrum environment experience.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
