Senior Report Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Report Developer in Jersey City, NJ.

Overview:
* As a Senior Report Developer, you will work on analyzing and designing data structures to support various applications, new features, taking these from concept to deployment, as part of our cross functional teams
* You'll have the opportunity to share ideas to improve our products as well as develop your skills, learn new technologies, and continue to learn
* We're looking for highly motivated individuals who work well in a collaborative, iterative, and fast-paced environment

REQUIREMENTS:
* Experience in Linux environment including basic Unix commands; Knows some Unix
* Experience working with team in Agile methodology
* Strong data analysis skills, design, and coding experience in financial industry preferably in capital markets/prime brokerage
* Strong RDBMS skills - SQL querying, writing stored procedures, triggers, functions, views, user privileges, object privileges, etc.
* Has done performance tuning of stored procedures and queries
* Good knowledge of SSRS Reporting services required
* Understand glossaries and terminologies in financial industry
* Comfortable working on Windows servers and writing windows batch programs
* Motivated and able to deliver end-to-end solutions
* Good communication skills to both technological folks and business partners
* Quick learner, adaptable, has the right attitude to work across teams to find and deploy solutions
* Committed to timely and quality deliverables
* Team player
* Ability to work independently and collaborate with teams
* 5+ years working in financial industry is a plus
* AWS Cloud experience is a plus
* Prime Brokerage application development experience is a plus
* Knowledge of Power BI is a plus
* Knowledge of Python is nice to have
* Knowledge of accounting concepts is nice to have

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
