Job Description:

The Department of Information Resources (DIR) requires the services of six (6) Software Developer 2's hereafter referred to as Worker, who meets the general qualification of Application Developer and the specifications outlined in this submission for Texas Department of Motor Vehicles. Performs application development in support of the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV), Information Technology (IT), based on agency requirements and advises manager of status of release based on results of testing performed for a software release to be implemented into production.
Experience: 4 to 7 years in the field or a related area.
Knowledge: Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the specific IT domain.
Judgment: Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Creativity & Latitude: A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Supervision: Works under limited supervision, with considerable latitude for using initiative and independent judgment.
