Description:

Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Duration: 1+ Year

Location: Chandler, AZ
Responsibilities
  • Apply broad knowledge of electrical engineering principles and industry standards to complex systems.
  • Prepare and present technical materials for requirements and design reviews.
  • Perform qualification and acceptance testing, troubleshooting, and test data analysis for electrical components and subsystems.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, off-nominal behaviors, and potential performance degradation.
  • Conduct trade studies and risk assessments for internal projects and procured equipment.
  • Derive and decompose requirements from documentation and design meetings.
  • Provide formal peer reviews of engineering designs and analyses.
  • Ensure safety compliance and deliver high-quality internal and external customer service.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 9+ years of experience, or Master's degree with 7+ years of experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with missile systems and associated standards.
  • Prior experience in design, testing, integration, and deployment of electrical components or subsystems.
  • Skilled in releasing engineering documentation, including drawings, specifications, and test procedures.
  • Hands-on experience with root cause failure analysis and nonconformance resolution.
  • Proficiency with test equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, DMMs, electronic loads).
  • Familiarity with analytical tools such as MATLAB or Python for data analysis and trend identification.
  • Strong problem-solving skills for technical, schedule, and cost challenges.
  • Ability to mentor and cross-train team members across diverse electrical system architectures.
