Sr. Software Engineer I

Epsilon C5I (, focused on software development and systems engineering for intelligence and combat systems, is looking for a Sr. Software Engineer I with 10+ years of experience to join our SIGINT team. Duties & Responsibilities:

• Participate in a highly collaborative team within an AGILE software development and integration environment.
• Assist with trouble tickets with the ability to create, update, and close tickets, and track items to resolution
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and drive software architecture and design decisions.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Create and enhance software applications using Python, Java, and web-based technologies
• Develop software code to model data types, equipment, servers, signals and networks to produce realistic and repeatable data.
• Develop processes and practices to integrate Infrastructure as Code (IAC) utilizing commercial environments such as AWS

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Systems Engineering.
• At least ten (10+) years of software engineering experience.
• Five or more years of experience leading teams of developers
• Two or more years of experience deploying and managing virtual machines (VMs) in VMWare ESXi
• Five or more years of experience writing code in Java and Javascript
• Five or more years of experience writing code in C++
• Applicant Must have an active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance, with SCI access
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Effective team player with highly proficient customer service skills.

Pay Range:

The pay range for this role is $150,000 to $190,000 annually. This is a reasonable estimate for this role. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

• Regular communication (hearing/speaking).
• Noise conditions range from very quiet to very noisy.
• Prolonged use of computer (typing/keyboarding).
• Frequently required to sit for long periods of time, stand, walk, and may occasionally lift and move at least 25 pounds.
• Ability to travel by car, air or other means of transportation, if required.
