For candidates with current or prior experience with the State of Wisconsin experience and all required skills outlined in the job posting, we offer up to 98.5% of the client bill rate on CTC basis, ensuring a very low margin (under $1). Please be advised that client administrative fees will be deducted if applicable. Our payment terms are Net 30, and we guarantee payment within that period of Net 30, regardless of the client's payment status to us.

Location Requirement: Onsite or Remote? Candidates MUST be WI residents or willing to relocate to WI within 30 calendar days of start date. Local candidate preferred. Services to DNR must be physically completed within the State of Wisconsin including during remote work. Hybrid, On a weekly basis DNR is currently 60% remote and 40% in the office. Headquarters is downtown Madison, WI. Hybrid requirement is weekly not monthly. New contractor must start on site for a five-day orientation/onboarding. Work cannot be conducted outside the United States.
The Department of Natural Resources, DNR IT Custom Application Development Section seeks to
hire a Microsoft .NET Web Developer III to design, develop, test, implement and maintain solutions
and features for applications in Microsoft .NET environment. The developer needs to provide reliable,
responsive support and updates to these systems. This work requires @40 hrs/week) work for a candidate with advanced developer skillsets and experience. The position may be working on new development, enhancements and/or providing support for existing applications as determined by agency priorities.
The candidate must have proven work experience with application development, user interface development for custom applications and database development. The person hired for this position
must work closely with team members and DNR Application Architect Lead for application solutions,
development plans, and ensure effective integration among information systems and the IT infrastructure. This may include working with DNR approved third party technologies. An important part of the position will be to understand the interactions between applications, and services within the DNR environment, and evaluate the impact of changes or additions.
The candidate should be motivated to stay on top of technological advancements to ensure that
solutions are continuously improved, supported, and aligned with industry and agency standards as
well as emerging business requirements. The candidate must understand user and process requirements and ensure those requirements can be achieved through high quality deliverables. The candidate for this position will need to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and be able to perform a variety of tasks.
Required Skills:
- Advanced level application development skillsets including Analysis and Development within Microsoft .Net Framework. (8+ yrs)
- Coding experience in .Net framework with MVC including C#, Javascript and Bootstrap. (8+ yrs)
- Experience coding applications in Angular (2 years)
- Experience developing applications with Oracle databases including experience writing stored procedures and SQL. (8+ yrs)
- Experience working in Azure DevOps including keeping work items updated in addition to code management. (4+ years)
Desired Skills:
- Experience working at DNR or in other Government agency.
- Experience working with Microsoft Suite, including SharePoint, Teams, Word, Excel, etc.
- Experience with GIS, especially Esri JavaScript APIs.
