RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer, Cohesity in Houston, TX.

Responsibilities:
* Infrastructure Engineer will serve as the point of contact for infra build incidents, problem, change management, risk, vendor and client relationships, internal and external communications, service delivery, lifecycle management, and service evolution
* Support administrative functions necessary for infrastructure delivery, including planning, tracking, reporting, and consumption
* Execute daily duties and define and drive Infrastructure Platform requirements to enhance business processes
* As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will develop and support operational activities through automation
* Lead root cause analysis meetings to drive process improvements
* Collaborate with teams to ensure high availability and optimal performance for customers
* Ensure information controls, backup, and recovery strategies are implemented across all environments

REQUIREMENTS:
* 3+ years of experience in problem resolution within large-scale production environments
* Moderate experience in scripting (shell, Perl, Python, etc.) to automate backup service requirements
* Experience with backup provisioning in Cohesity and Commvault
* Experience with Catalog Migration for NetBackup
* Experience in building Infrastructure for Cohesity clusters, Commvault and Veritas NetBackup domains with storage and tape library infrastructure
* Experience with ITIL processes, including Incident Management and Change Management, is required
* Advanced knowledge of Cohesity, Veritas NetBackup, Commvault, Index Engines, including command line environments; Intermediate knowledge of AWS or Azure is a plus
* Intermediate knowledge of large-scale enterprise backup solutions
* Strong technology background to understand change requests and recommend alternative solutions
* Familiarity with storage products - EMC Data Domain, Block (SAN) and File (NAS)
* Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and practices
* Advanced knowledge of business continuity/resiliency
* Proficient in TCP/IP networking and firewall technology
* Proficiency in JIRA and Agile methodologies, with a proven track record of managing projects using these tools and frameworks
* Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Visio, and other productivity tools
* Effective production support skills, including accurate problem identification, ticket documentation, and customer/vendor communication
* Ability to articulate the business value and impact of technical and non-technical information and determine when to escalate issues
* Ability to deliver project and process documentation for small to medium-scale projects and ensure compliance with structured Project Delivery Processes

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
