IT Support Specialist – Job Requirement
Position Overview
We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide customer service, technical support, and enduser troubleshooting for a state agency in Austin, Texas. This role is 100% onsite.
Work Location & Schedule
Location: Office of Court Administration, 205 W 14th St, Austin, TX 78701
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Onsite only
• Total hours: Up to 1000 hours
Required Experience
3 years – Providing customer service (phone, email, inperson)
• 2 years – Working with customers of varying technical proficiency
• 2 years – Supporting computers, Windows 10, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe products
• 1 year – Active Directory (account setup, password resets, access support)
• 1 year – Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or similar)
Job Responsibilities
Provide enduser support across phone, email, and onsite
• Troubleshoot computers, applications, printers, and peripherals
• Perform Active Directory user support tasks
• Support Windows 10, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe products
• Configure and install hardware and software
• Track and resolve tickets using a ticketing system
• Assist with Azure and cloudrelated tasks
• Document issues and follow standard procedures
