Job Details
Description: Buying Assistants should have strong communication and organizational skills. This person will be instrumental to the buying team by managing and executing all the tasks related to asin creation. Primary responsibilities range around all aspects of managing asin creation. This involves intense and repetitive communication with vendors, image center and our fulfillment center community. Also pulling data queries, working on large amounts of data in Excel, and ad hoc reporting as needed. The ideal candidates will have a background in retail or e-commerce. They must be able to work in a highly demanding, but collegial environment where teamwork is essential. Successful candidates must be highly organized and have good computer skills (Excel and Word). They will also be flexible, action and results oriented, self-starting and comfortable with computer databases and tools. The ability to problem-solve using creative thinking and innovation are a plus. They must be decisive, able to move with speed to implement their own ideas, supporting the improvement of the team goals at the same time that they are driving results for specific category management.
