EXPECTED WORK AND PERFORMANCE

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure cloud architecture solutions across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into cloud-based solutions that align with business objectives.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate cloud services, tools, and technologies based on project requirements and best practices.
• Develop and maintain documentation for cloud architecture, design decisions, and configurations.
• Implement and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost, and security considerations.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and cloud platform updates to ensure continuous improvement of cloud architecture.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to other team members in the adoption and implementation of cloud best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand application requirements and ensure seamless integration with cloud services.
• Conduct regular security assessments and implement measures to enhance the overall security posture of cloud environments.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Master s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience as a Cloud Architect.
• Provider-Specific Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect.
• Proven experience as a Cloud Architect with expertise in Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud computing concepts, including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS).
• Hands-on experience with cloud migration, deployment, and management.
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and compliance in cloud environments.
• Certification in relevant cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect) is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
• Proven track record of successful collaboration in a team-oriented environment.

The candidate will work onsite at our corporate headquarters in Richardson, Texas.
