Job Description:

The Senior Application Programmer will support a large-scale migration project by analyzing business requirements, designing and implementing application code, and ensuring successful data transformation and ingestion into an enterprise content management system. This role involves significant coordination, documentation, testing, and problem-solving throughout the data migration lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements and assess alternative solutions

• Design, develop, and implement application code and fixes for migration tasks

• Perform complex data analysis and develop logic for data extraction, conversion, and ingestion into FileNet or equivalent systems

• Conduct proof of concept with data sampling and deliver consistent, repeatable data transformation processes

• Produce data-driven reports to validate data quality and volume post-migration

• Provide accurate testing, validation, and reconciliation reports

• Maintain migration schedules, timelines, testing plans, and reconciliation procedures

• Prepare and deliver technical documentation, status updates, and project reporting

• Collaborate with teams to define data mapping strategies and document transformations

• Create and maintain documentation on work processes and feature implementations

• Resolve urgent technical issues and remain available for after-hours support as needed

Mandatory Qualifications:

• 2 5 years of experience in data analytics, problem-solving, development, and data migration in enterprise content management environments

• 4+ years of experience with Db2 and/or Microsoft SQL Server

• 3+ years of experience in data extraction, transformation, migration, and load processes

• 2+ years of experience with:

  • .NET Core

  • Angular

  • Telerik

  • Bootstrap

  • Entity Framework

  • API services

  • CSS and HTML5

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with DevOps methodologies for development and testing

• Strong communication and presentation skills

• Familiarity with the FileNet P8 Platform, including repositories, object stores, and taxonomy

• Skilled in writing, optimizing, and maintaining complex SQL code

• Experience with database backup and recovery

• Experience with C# and VB.NET

• Experience using Kofax Capture or IBM DataCap

• Background in BI and data warehousing tools

• Comfortable working in dynamic, collaborative team environments

• Bachelor s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent industry experience

• Relevant certifications and licenses are a plus
