Job Details

We are seeking a Support Technician for a long-term contract opportunity based in Austin, Texas. This is a full-time, on-site position that may require occasional regional travel. Candidates must be flexible and available to work evenings or weekends as needed to support business needs and meet project deadlines.

Responsiblities:

  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in both hardware and software components of personal computers, with a continuous drive to learn and adopt emerging technologies
  • Perform installation, repair, and preventive maintenance on PCs and related systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity
  • Troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of hardware and software issues, minimizing downtime and enhancing user productivity
  • Diagnose and identify network-related problems as they pertain to desktop and laptop systems
  • Provide responsive and effective technical support, end-user training, and documentation for IT processes and procedures
  • Lead and contribute to IT projects, including process development and implementation of technology initiatives
  • Serve as a local technical leader and mentor, offering guidance and support to junior technicians and fostering a collaborative team environment

You:

  • +4 years providing white-glove executive-level support
  • +5 years delivering end-user support
  • +5 years handling personal computer hardware and routine software installation
  • +5 years troubleshooting IT hardware and peripherals in an enterprise environment
  • +5 years supporting Microsoft Productivity tools such as Office 365 and MS Teams
  • +4 years managing video tele-conferencing solutions such as Cisco Webex
  • Preferred experience in creating technical knowledge base articles
  • Proficient in utilizing ServiceNow within a support environment
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow for incident and request management in IT support settings
