Job Description

By applying for this role, you will be considered for opportunities within Lockheed Martin's Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) division. This is a Pipeline Req, sample statement of work, and actual job responsibilities will be within one of our functional organizations. We may have multiple opportunities at various levels.

MFC is one of five Lockheed Martin business areas. MFC is a recognized designer, developer and manufacturer of precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.S. and allied militaries. MFC develops, manufactures and supports advanced combat, missile, rocket, manned and unmanned systems for military customers that include the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, NASA and dozens of foreign allies. MFC also offers a wide range of products and services for the global civil nuclear power industry and the military's green power initiatives. MFC has seven principal product categories that correspond to the vital capabilities it provides our warfighters and civilian customers in their defining moments. LM's Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is expanding its teams in multiple locations, including Orlando, FL; Ocala, FL; Grand Prairie, TX; Goleta, CA; Troy, AL; Chelmsford, MA; Camden, AK; Archibald, PA; Lexington, KY.

Candidates may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Basic Qualifications

STEM Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, such as Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems Security, Information Assurance, Cybersecurity Assurance, or Cyber Defense, or equivalent experience/combined education.
Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance
Knowledge of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and Risk Management Framework (RMF)
Experience with embedded security solutions, cyber security concepts for Test Equipment, and security protocol design and analysis
Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Demonstrated basic understanding of audit techniques and principles
Experience in Requirements Analysis, Design/Development, Product Integration and Test, and software quality or engineering
Demonstrated ability to use causal analysis tools to analyze and resolve technical/process issues varying from basic to very complex
Ability to interpret software code (C/C++, ADA) to verify implementation of requirements
Effective communication skills, including written, oral, listening, presentation, and technical writing
Effective interpersonal skills, including Team building and Collaboration
Experience with presentation and problem-solving skills
Experience with Government customers and stakeholders
Strong knowledge of Industry recognized Quality Systems/Models, such as Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI), QMS System Audit (AS9100, ISO9001), and FAA regulation
Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt)
Security + Certification and CISSP certification (basic and in-depth understanding of network security, threats, and vulnerabilities, cryptography, and access control)
ASQ CSQE (Certified Software Quality Engineer) certification
Experience with Agile Methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban, SaFE, etc.)
Hands-on experience with test equipment hardware and related technologies
In-depth knowledge of test stations/test sets, validation, verification, and certification
Strong knowledge of LabView and Test Stand
Ability to travel (up to 25% of the time)
Experience with product development phases, including IRAD, Development, Production, and Sustainment
Experience with Software Suppliers and Corrective Action Board (Process, Command Media, Corrective Action, Preventive Action, Root Cause Analysis)

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Premium Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $98,300 - $170,315. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
