Position Title: Process Design Consultant

Location: Newark, DE


Expected Duration: 12+ months


Tentative Start Date: ASAP


Pay Rate: $95/hr on W2



We are excited to inform you about an opportunity to join Bank of America's dynamic Global Technology Resiliency & Business Continuity (GRBC) Planning and Testing Operations team as a Business Continuity Consultant. This role is crucial in helping us manage and reduce technological risk while maintaining regulatory compliance within our technology resilience planning and testing programs.



Position Description:

Primary Skill: Business Continuity Consulting, Technology Resiliency Planning and Testing


Required Skills:



  • Nonfunctional design architecture - capacity, scalability, performance



  • Knowledge of full stack build techniques, automation, and data protection



  • Ability to assimilate information and work with up to four distinct and potentially unrelated services, each with 2 - 20 critical applications



  • Technology architecture or equivalent



  • Experience in developing and managing technology resiliency & recovery plans and testing standards, policies, and process and procedure documents



  • Knowledge of technology systems application and data protection techniques, system rebuild and data recovery or reconstruction capabilities and testing techniques



  • Demonstrated ability partnering with and providing expert-level advice to business partners with complex recovery and resiliency requirements



  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly



  • Highly organized, ability to simultaneously prioritize tasks and handle numerous time-sensitive issues



  • Identifies linkages and thinks "enterprise" across business lines and geographies



  • Embraces and drives changes



  • Proactively takes a leadership role to ensure team success



  • Drives positive energy across the team



  • Analytical/strong attention to detail



  • Proficient Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, & Outlook skills



  • Strong written & verbal communication skills



  • Strong meeting facilitation skills




Desired Skills:



  • 7+ years of technology resilience planning and testing or equivalent experience



  • Experience in failure analysis and contingency planning and testing



  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience

  • Strong risk mindset with process and controls background



  • Actively debate and escalate issues and concerns



  • Demonstrated understanding of internal control discipline and operational excellence
