We are seeking a strategic and technically proficient SAP Product Owner to lead the development and optimization of our SAP HCM Core and Organizational Management solutions. This role bridges HR business needs with SAP capabilities, ensuring the delivery of scalable, efficient, and user-centric solutions that support workforce planning, organizational structuring, and core HR processes. Candidates must be local to the tristate area.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Serve as the Product Owner for SAP HCM Core and Org Manager modules, owning the product vision, roadmap, and backlog.




  • Collaborate with HR stakeholders to gather, prioritize, and translate business requirements into functional specifications.




  • Lead agile ceremonies (backlog grooming, sprint planning, reviews) and ensure continuous delivery of value.




  • Partner with SAP functional and technical teams to design, test, and implement enhancements and integrations.




  • Ensure data integrity and compliance with HR policies, legal regulations, and audit requirements.




  • Monitor system performance and user feedback to drive continuous improvement.




  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for SAP Organizational Management, Position Management, and Personnel Administration.




  • Support change management, training, and communication efforts related to SAP HR solutions.




Required Qualifications:




  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.




  • 5+ years of experience with SAP HCM, including Organizational Management and Personnel Administration.




  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in an agile environment.




  • Strong understanding of HR processes, organizational design, and workforce data management.




  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.




  • Familiarity with SAP SuccessFactors is a plus.




  • Preferred Skills:




  • Agile/Scrum certification (e.g., CSPO, SAFe PO/PM).




  • Experience with SAP Fiori, SAP HR Reporting, or integration with third-party HR tools.




  • Knowledge of data privacy and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
