Vice President of PEO Benefits

The ideal candidate will be available for at least hybrid office hours with 3 days onsite/2 days remote- Clearwater, FL

We are open to considering candidates at either the Director or VP level, with the distinction largely driven by years of experience and depth of leadership background. Attached is the job description for the role VP role.

A critical requirement is PEO benefits experience. Unlike a traditional benefits role at a broker or carrier, the PEO model requires a unique understanding of:

• Managing benefits programs across a master plan or multiple carriers while balancing compliance, underwriting, and client needs.
• Navigating the complexity of being both the employer of record and the administrator, while supporting thousands of client relationships.
• Partnering closely with internal teams (sales, implementation, operations, payroll, compliance) to ensure benefits integrate seamlessly into the broader PEO service model.

Provides leadership and guidance, and ensures compliance with Federal and state regulations in the administration of both PEO-sponsored and open market group and voluntary benefit plans including medical, dental, life, disability, flexible spending accounts, supplemental plans, worksite products, etc.

Manages and maintains responsibility for overall insurance book performance to ensure the health of PEO-sponsored master health and benefit plans.

Assess, streamline, and continuously improve benefits processes to drive operational efficiency, ensure data accuracy, and enhance the client and employee experience.

Works with and manages relationships with key insurance carriers and consultants with a focus on health underwriting.
