DotNet Developer

ASSYST is seeking a highly proficient DotNet Developer to support software development (on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure) in Wharton, NJ.

Location: Wharton, NJ (Hybrid)

Responsibilities:

• Provide support to add additional functionality and/or work processes to the software support system while ensuring compatibility with past/current systems.
• Maintain select IT Enterprise systems per DoD and Army regulations to ensure Information Assurance (IA) compliance, high availability, and optimal performance.
• Develop new software projects and/or modules on a variety of on-premises and cloud-based platforms, with a focus on Microsoft .NET.
• Advise and support the transition of existing development and sustainment projects using legacy development methodologies (e.g., waterfall) to conform with DevSecOps.
• Provide development and configuration control of functional, technical, and testing documentation for all new and existing projects under their purview.
• Ensure custom code is configuration controlled and developed within Department of Defense mandated cybersecurity parameters.
• Maintain and augment existing waterfall-based projects as needed and support their transition to DevSecOps compliance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a DotNet Developer or similar role.
• Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, and .NET framework.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
• Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL) and ORM frameworks (e.g., Entity Framework).
• Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
