Job Details

Description

We are looking for a skilled Security Analyst to strengthen our organization's cybersecurity defenses and safeguard sensitive information. This role involves proactively identifying and mitigating security risks, responding to incidents, and implementing measures to protect our systems and data. As a key member of the IT security team, you will collaborate across departments to ensure compliance, maintain system integrity, and educate staff on best practices.

Responsibilities:
Develop and enforce security strategies to protect organizational assets and ensure business continuity.
Investigate security incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Deploy and oversee security measures, including hardware and software solutions, to prevent vulnerabilities.
Conduct regular risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and security audits to identify and address potential threats.
Monitor system access and manage data access controls to maintain secure environments.
Respond to security breaches, malicious software, and other incidents, implementing appropriate countermeasures.
Collaborate with teams to manage network security, intrusion detection systems, and encryption protocols.
Provide security awareness training and guidance to employees to promote a culture of cybersecurity.
Evaluate and implement advanced security tools, technologies, and practices to enhance overall protection.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements through secure handling and processing of sensitive data.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
Minimum of three years of experience in a security analyst or similar cybersecurity role.
Proficiency in penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and remediation strategies.
Strong knowledge of firewall technologies, anti-virus solutions, and endpoint security tools.
Expertise in TCP/IP networking, routing, and switching, as well as network security principles.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and cloud security best practices.
Experience with operating systems like Windows and Linux, including security hardening techniques.
Preferred certifications include Security+, CySA+, PenTest+, or equivalent industry credentials.
