Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced ETL Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines that support enterprise data warehouse and business intelligence needs. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ETL tools, SQL, and data integration across diverse systems. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to ensure data quality, consistency, and readiness for system migrations and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Extract data from legacy systems and transform it for compatibility with modern platforms such as Workday HCM.
• Define and document data field mappings between source and target systems.
• Perform data validation to ensure accuracy and compliance with quality standards.
• Develop, monitor, and optimize ETL processes and workflows.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to maintain data integrity and availability.
• Troubleshoot ETL pipeline issues and ensure efficient data movement.
• Maintain documentation for ETL processes, transformation rules, and validation procedures.
• Develop and execute test cases to support data migration and reporting efforts.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of Workday HCM data structures and previous experience with data migrations.
• Proficiency with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or SSIS.
• Strong SQL skills for querying, transformation, and stored procedures.
• Experience in data modeling, database design, and data quality assurance.
• Ability to analyze large datasets and troubleshoot performance issues in ETL pipelines.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.

Preferred Tools and Technologies:

• ETL design and support tools (SSIS or equivalent)
• T-SQL, SSRS, SSAS
• Data pipeline development and performance tuning
• Data validation and testing techniques
• Familiarity with Kronos and Cornerstone data migration is a plus

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in ETL/data conversion projects.
• At least 3 years of experience migrating data to Workday HCM.
• Previous involvement with legacy HR systems migrations is highly desirable.
