Job Title: Associate Product Manager - Last Mile Services
Location: Hybrid 3X/week Downtown Chicago
Type: Long term contract
About the Role: Our client is seeking an Associate Product Manager to support their Last Mile Services team, which drives innovation in customer-facing delivery and pickup experiences. This individual will help manage products and features that power our partnerships with Instacart and other fulfillment providers, ensuring seamless last-mile operations for customers across retail brands.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the end-to-end lifecycle of digital and operational products within Last Mile Services (e.g., delivery tracking, order fulfillment, curbside pickup).
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Managers, Engineers, UX Designers, Data Analysts, and Operations teams.
- Help define product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Assist with backlog grooming, sprint planning, and product demos.
- Analyze performance metrics, customer feedback, and operational KPIs to identify areas for improvement.
- Work closely with third-party vendors (e.g., Instacart) to align on feature development, testing, and rollout.
- Participate in stakeholder meetings and help communicate updates, risks, and decisions clearly and effectively.
- Ensure product documentation is up to date and accessible to relevant teams.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in product management, business analysis, or operations within a tech-enabled or retail/logistics environment.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Analytical mindset with comfort using data to support decision-making.
- Exposure to eCommerce, order fulfillment, or supply chain technologies a plus.
- Experience working with or alongside last mile delivery or pickup systems (Instacart, DoorDash, etc.) is a strong advantage.
- Self-starter attitude with curiosity and eagerness to grow into a full product management role.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in grocery, retail, or logistics industries.
- Understanding of APIs, digital integrations, or delivery platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Operations, or related field.
