RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in need of a Finance Project Manager in Boston, MA.
Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and manage finance-related activities at the program level to ensure compliance with organizational priorities
* Act as the primary liaison between the program team and internal finance units
* Participate in finance-related meetings across operations, change management, and release planning
* Provide input on finance-related contract and procurement requirements
* Monitor cost allocations for past, current, and proposed activities
* Analyze financial impacts of operational and development initiatives
* Conduct ongoing budget and performance analyses and forecasts
* Develop financial reporting templates and produce monthly and ad hoc reports for leadership
* Lead communication with finance teams on budget development and expenditure requests
* Respond to inquiries from internal stakeholders
* Recommend and initiate process improvements when approved
* Promote use of industry best practices
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent experience
* MBA in Finance, Accounting, or Administration preferred
* 3+ years of experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
* Familiarity with budgeting and accounting systems and processes
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of SharePoint and Jira is a plus
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial skills with attention to detail
* Excellent project management and organizational abilities
* Demonstrated initiative and ability to manage multiple projects with strong follow-through
* Effective team collaborator in environments with interdependent deliverables
* Skilled at navigating stakeholder needs and expectations
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to multitask and adapt to shifting priorities in fast-paced settings
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
