C#/Java Engineer for New York, Weehawken, Stamford (Hybrid 3 days/week onsite)

Project Overview:
You ll be working on the ACQA Platform, a modern cloud-native platform built on Microsoft Azure that powers next-generation valuation and risk management services. The platform offers:

A scalable, cost-efficient infrastructure leveraging Azure PaaS
A modular, open architecture designed for change with automated data lineage and cost tracking
Shared utility across Front Office, Finance, and Risk functions for enhanced regulatory compliance
A unified user experience that s easy to learn, operate, and scale across teams

Responsibilities:
Design and develop big data solutions using Apache Spark and Azure Databricks
Build and maintain production-grade systems in Scala, Java, or Python
Work in a platform engineering role with a focus on cloud infrastructure (preferably Microsoft Azure)
Develop and operate CI/CD pipelines using cloud-native tools like GitLab CI
Implement and manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes
Collaborate in an Agile environment, delivering features end-to-end from concept to production

Must-Have Skills:
Strong development background in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) languages like Java or C#
Most of the codebase is in C#, so Java developers must be open to learning C#
Solid understanding of design patterns and SOLID principles
Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and owning full feature delivery
Familiarity with Agile methodologies
Comfortable working in cloud-first environments, preferably Azure

Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with Python
Familiarity with Kubernetes for orchestration
Proficiency in CI/CD-driven development
Interest in system architecture and platform design
