We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Civil Engineer to join our team. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including land development, site development, and drainage design. You will be involved in all stages of project development, from conceptual design to construction administration. This role provides a unique opportunity to apply your technical skills and creativity to create sustainable and resilient infrastructures that enhance our communities.
Responsibilities:
As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:
1. Designing and overseeing construction of infrastructure such as roads, buildings, airports, tunnels, dams, bridges, and systems for water supply and sewage treatment.
2. Preparing detailed engineering plans, designs, and layouts, using Civil 3D and other design software.
3. Conducting land surveys and preparing site development plans.
4. Managing and directing construction teams and activities on the job site.
5. Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
6. Evaluating potential project sites and assessing the feasibility of development.
7. Ensuring all designs and projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
8. Preparing and presenting reports, proposals, and project updates to clients and stakeholders.
9. Applying expert knowledge of the design, construction, and maintenance of public works, such as roads or bridges.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
2. At least 2 years of experience in civil engineering, specifically in land development, site development, and drainage design.
3. Proficiency in Civil 3D or similar design software.
4. Experience with land surveying and site development planning.
5. Valid Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
6. Strong knowledge of civil, drainage, and sewage engineering principles.
7. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
8. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
9. Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
10. Familiarity with local, state, and federal building codes and regulations.
