Job Details

Currently they are looking to add an Electrical Engineer with medium voltage experience and this will be a full-time permanent role working a hybrid schedule out of their office in Long Beach.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform field surveys for the design of electrical systems, gather information, and prepare site assessment report
  • Prepare electrical schematic designs
  • Demonstrate ability to manage multiple large-size projects involving other senior engineers and subconsultants
  • Provide mentorship to design engineers
  • Prepare proposals independently for clients
  • Demonstrate active development of business with new and existing clients
  • Review and respond to RFI's
  • Review equipment submittals
  • Perform punch walks and prepare punch list report

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years experience
  • Able to work on electrical infrastructure design projects with minimal supervision
  • Experience using AutoCAD, ETAP/SKM, and Revit
  • Working knowledge of both National and California Electrical Codes and CA Energy Code
  • Prior experience working on commercial/industrial infrastructure projects. Must be able to access and perform site visits
