Job Details
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Applications Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Solar PV industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Solar Systems Design. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of our innovative solutions, with a focus on solar energy applications. The role will involve working closely with our design, product development, product management, and engineering teams.
Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop applications for solar energy systems providing PV mounting solutions for commercial and residential scale projects.
2. Collaborate with the engineering team to develop innovative solar energy solutions.
3. Participate in the full lifecycle of application development, from concept and design to testing and implementation.
4. Evaluate the performance of solar PV mounting systems and make recommendations for improvements..
5. Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to provide technical expertise and recommendations.
6. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all designs and implementations.
7. Provide training and mentorship to junior engineers in the team.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Applications Engineer in the Solar PV industry.
3. Proven experience with Photovoltaic (PV) mounting system design.
4. Expertise designing in one more more Solar Design Application software.
5. Leadership skills will be a huge plus or the strong desire to become a leader within the organization.
