Your role
Do you want to design and build next generation business applications using the latest technologies to build new Digital Banking experience? Are you confident at iteratively refining user requirements and removing any ambiguity? Do you like to be challenged and encouraged to learn and grow professionally?
At UBS, we're hiring top engineering talent across levels to build the next generation banking infrastructure at the UBS private bank. Simply put, we're looking to reinvent banking in a post-product world, within a large and established bank. It's an ambitious effort and we need hungry talent, who want to make a dent in this industry.
We're looking for software engineers, Data Engineers and Domain Experts to:
provide technology solutions that will solve business problems and strengthen our position as digital leaders in financial services
Analyse business requirements for the new Digital Banking within Wealth Management Americas
design, plan and deliver sustainable solutions using modern programming languages
providing technical expertise and recommendations in assessing new software projects and initiatives to support and enhance our existing applications
conduct code reviews and test software as needed, along with participating in application architecture and design and other phases of SDLC
see that proper operational controls and procedures are implemented to process move from test to production
Your team
You'll be working in the Bank Data & Reporting crew, as part of the Digital Banking Initiative in Wealth management Americas. The team is adopting latest Agile practices in a fast-paced environment. Our technologies currently span a suit of Microsoft products such as D365, Data verse, striving for the best user experience. We plan to integrate with several third-party systems, internal and external with state-of-the-art choreography service layer.
Your expertise
Your role : Data Engineer
software engineer/developer focused on Azure Cloud components and infrastructure.
Design and implement data storage solutions using Azure services such as Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure Data Lake Storage
Develop and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks
Create and manage data processing jobs using Azure HDInsight and Azure Stream Analytics
Perform data modelling and schema design for efficient data storage and retrieval
Optimize data processing and storage for performance and cost efficiency
Implement security and compliance measures for data storage and processing
Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to provide data insights and support data-driven decision making
Troubleshoot and resolve data processing and storage issues
Develop and maintain documentation for data storage and processing solutions
Stay up-to-date with new Azure services and technologies and evaluate their potential for improving data storage and processing solutions.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent with a focus in Computer Science or similar areas.
