We are seeking a ScienceLogic Engineer / AWS Tools SME to support a major federal cloud operations and migration initiative. This role is focused on maintaining and optimizing a large-scale AWS-based infrastructure monitoring environment using ScienceLogic SL1. Candidates must have deep experience in AWS cloud tools and monitoring integration, along with strong documentation and DevSecOps knowledge.
This opportunity is through a trusted federal IT services partner that specializes in cloud transformation, enterprise monitoring, and infrastructure modernization in support of government clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide end-to-end operations and infrastructure support for ScienceLogic SL1 environments
- Configure, tune, and maintain ScienceLogic monitoring tools in AWS-hosted systems and applications
- Integrate ScienceLogic SL1 with enterprise systems such as ServiceNow and JIRA
- Develop performance dashboards, business service maps, and operational KPIs
- Assist in documentation and training for SL1 users and administrators
- Conduct planning for future SL1 capacity and cost optimization
- Participate in 24x7 on-call support for the SL1 production platform
- 6+ years of experience working with AWS cloud operational tools
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with ScienceLogic (SL1) in cloud and hybrid environments
- Experience with enterprise integration tools (ServiceNow, JIRA)
- Knowledge of scripting/automation and DevSecOps practices
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or current AWS or Azure certification
- Must have lived in the U.S. for the past 3 consecutive years
- Experience supporting VAEC or federal government environments
- Familiarity with federal monitoring infrastructure and tools such as ESMT, SL1, CloudWatch
- Strong documentation, reporting, and end-user training capabilities
- Experience developing custom SL1 templates, dashboards, and alerts
