Job Title: Oracle Techno-Functional Engineer

Terms of Employment:
• Contract, 6 Months (Likely Extension)
• This position is 100% remote. Candidates must be comfortable working Eastern Standard Time business hours.
Overview:
Join a leading healthcare organization as an Oracle Techno-Functional Engineer. After an initial search, the hiring manager has clarified the most critical needs for the role. We are seeking a true techno-functional developer, not a business analyst or project coordinator, to support several extremely critical projects. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical expert with deep experience in Oracle Financials development and troubleshooting. You will be instrumental in designing, building, and supporting integrations and reports that are vital to time-sensitive corporate initiatives.

You will…
• Perform hands-on technical analysis and development within Oracle EBS Financials modules.
• Design, build, and troubleshoot complex inbound and outbound interfaces using both API-based and file-based integrations.
• Develop and optimize complex reports using XML Publisher.
• Write, optimize, and debug complex PL/SQL queries, packages, procedures, and functions.
• Apply performance tuning techniques to SQL queries and application layer processes.
• Provide expert technical issue resolution for performance bottlenecks, program failures, and interface rejections.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver project requirements in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications:
• Solid, hands-on experience with Oracle EBS R12.2.11 or a higher version.
• Expert-level, non-negotiable functional and technical knowledge of General Ledger (GL) and Accounts Payable (AP). Candidates with limited experience in these modules will not be considered.
• Strong, demonstrable PL/SQL expertise with the ability to write, optimize, and debug complex code.
• Proven experience building and supporting interfaces, including both file-based and API-based integrations.
• Strong reporting experience using XML/BI Publisher.
• Experience with performance tuning and advanced technical troubleshooting.
• Experience in the health insurance industry.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior professional experience working at a Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) plan.
• Experience with Financial Accounting Hub (FAH).
• Technical proficiency with Oracle Application Framework (OAF).
• Functional knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) and Fixed Assets (FA).
• Experience with Oracle Cloud SaaS (Fusion Financials), Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), or SAP Ariba.
• Familiarity with healthcare claims platforms like Facets or NASCO.
