Job Description
The role will serve in support of the data collection team. The primary tasks will involve lifting of luggage and test articles up to 40 lbs, to scan on our equipment. The individual will be trained on basic operation of the equipment, to support these efforts. Use of internal tools to facilitate copy of data from the equipment and data engineering may also be in scope. Familiarity working within a Linux based OS is preferred, but not required.
Position requires hands on time collecting data on aviation security x-ray and mm-wave equipment.
A typical day includes attending a team meeting, starting up the machine in the lab, and executing the documented test plan. At the end of the day, the collected data is copied to a shared server. The individual will work with a small, collaborative team and follow clear step-by-step procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities

Lift and transport test articles and luggage up to 40 lbs.

Operate x-ray and mm-wave equipment following provided instructions.

Execute data collection plans based on written test protocols.

Copy data from internal systems to shared drives.

Support teammates during lab testing and documentation.
Required Experience/Skills

Experience lifting and moving heavy objects (up to 40 lbs).

Basic computer literacy and ability to plug in and access external hard drives.

Comfortable working in a lab setting with electronic equipment.

Ability to follow step-by-step written instructions.
Nice-to-Haves

Familiarity working within a Linux-based OS.

Prior experience in data collection or test environments.
Education
- Required: High School diploma or equivalent
- Preferred: Associate degree
Pay & Benefits Summary
- Pay rate up to $28.85/hr W2
