Job Title: SAP Cloud ALM Architect

Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Cloud ALM Architect to join our team, with a strong foundation in SAP ERP and demonstrated expertise in implementing and optimizing SAP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) within cloud environments. The ideal candidate will play a strategic role in architecting and deploying robust ALM solutions, leading change and release governance, and enabling intelligent automation and monitoring across complex SAP landscapes, including SAP BTP, S/4HANA, and BW.

This position is ideally suited for professionals with a consultative mindset, strong technical skills, and a collaborative approach especially in the context of financial services clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Architect, implement, and configure SAP Cloud ALM environments, including roles, authorizations, and transport management (cTMS/CTS).

Lead and manage end-to-end change and release management processes, including governance frameworks and migrations from SAP Solution Manager (CHARM).

Set up and maintain Job & Automation Monitoring across SAP landscapes, with alerting, analytics, and reporting capabilities.

Configure system and business process monitoring, establish root-cause analysis dashboards, and implement real-time alert mechanisms.

Integrate SAP Cloud ALM with platforms such as SAP BTP, S/4HANA, BW, and external services/APIs for seamless operations.

Implement intelligent event handling and exception workflows to automate alert resolution and incident management.

Design and develop dashboards and reports to track SLAs, release status, system health, and core ALM KPIs.

Provide strategic guidance to customers on SAP Cloud ALM design and best practices.

Serve in an advisory capacity to ensure alignment between customer objectives and SAP solutions.

Act as a liaison between customer teams and SAP for issue resolution, escalations, and roadmap alignment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

12+ years of experience with SAP ERP solutions.

Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with SAP Cloud ALM.

Proven experience in at least one full-cycle SAP Cloud ALM implementation.

Strong understanding of SAP system architecture and ALM-related processes.

Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.

Experience in financial services or other regulated industries is a plus.
