Role: Full Stack React / Java Developer
Location: Remote

Duration: 6 Months Contract to hire

Project Overview:
Seeking a Full Stack React / Java Developer to support multiple projects, including proof-of-concepts (POCs) and future initiatives. The initial project involves development within the Availity portal on the payer side, focusing on provider-based applications tools accessed by doctors, nurses, and practitioners. The team works on product roadmaps and delivers solutions that enhance provider workflows.

Role Profile:

• Primary focus on React (approximately 70% of the role)
• Strong experience with Java (versions 8 and 21) and Spring Boot
• Angular experience is a nice-to-have for upcoming POCs

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop full-stack applications using React and Java with Spring Boot
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and services
• Build and maintain scalable front-end and back-end solutions
• Ensure code quality through unit testing (QA team handles system integration testing)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product roadmaps and technical solutions

Required Skills:

• React (primary skill)
• Java (8 and 21)
• Spring Boot
• API development and REST services
• NoSQL experience (Azure Cosmos preferred)
• Ability to write and execute unit tests

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Angular experience
• Azure experience (potential migration to Google Cloud Platform)
• CI/CD pipeline experience
• Healthcare domain knowledge
