Job Details

Role :Full Stack Application developer with Ruby On Rails

Location :Chicago, IL

Duration :6 months


Technical Leadership:

o Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Ruby On Rails.

o Integrate RESTful APIs and ensure seamless communication between frontend and backend components.

o Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.

o Work closely with product managers, designers, and QA to deliver features and enhancements.

o Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback and adhere to coding standards.

o Implement unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality and reliability.

o Participate in performance benchmarking and monitoring.

o Collaborate within agile teams, contributing to sprint planning, estimation, and execution.


Required Skills and Experience:

o 5 8 years of experience in full stack application development.

o Strong backend development skills using frameworks like Rails.

o Proficiency in at least one modern JavaScript framework (React/Angular/Vue, etc.).

o Proficiency with various database technologies, including relational (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/Redis/Elastic search).

o Experience with RESTful API design and integration.

o Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (Junit/Jest/Cypress, etc.).

o Experience with CI/CD tools and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/ Google Cloud Platform).

o Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

o Strong understanding of software design patterns and best practices.

o Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.

o Excellent communication and teamwork skills.


Good to have Capabilities:

o Contribute to CI/CD pipeline setup and maintenance (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).

o Support cloud deployment (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).

o Gain a strong understanding of healthcare workflows, data privacy, and security standards (e.g., HIPAA compliance).

o Ensure compliance with healthcare data privacy and security standards.

o Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in healthcare IT.


Technical Management:

o Support in project planning, estimation, and execution.

o Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including Customers, product managers, designers, and healthcare professionals.

o Work within agile methodologies.
