Title: Sr. Security Analyst

Location: Chicago, IL (Onsite)
Employment Type: Contract

Compensation
Pay Range:$51.45-$73.50/Hrs

Description
Support the Vulnerability Management Program and Security Awareness Program.
Provide hands-on support for day-to-day security operations.
Facilitate the vulnerability management program across IT and the broader organization.
Design and operate technical processes for regular vulnerability scanning.
Collaborate with stakeholders on reporting needs and issue resolution prioritization.
Transition vulnerability management program process into a new platform.
Expand vulnerability tracking and remediation efforts in new areas.

Key Responsibilities
Identify and create process improvements for the vulnerability management program.
Perform regular vulnerability scanning and assess risk and applicability.
Work with remediation teams to address discovered vulnerabilities.
Produce metrics and custom reporting to track vulnerability management effectiveness.
Assist with quantifying and analyzing areas of risk in the environment.
Present vulnerability reporting to stakeholders.
Perform vendor security and software risk assessments.

Qualifications
2-5 years of vulnerability management experience.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cyber Security, or equivalent experience.
Preferred certifications in security and technology.
Experience in a Windows Server environment.
Experience with custom reporting tools.
Experience with vulnerability scanning tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
