Job Title: Senior .NET Developer (React / AWS / Node.js) P&C Insurance

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior .NET Developer with strong full-stack capabilities across React (or Angular/Aurelia), .NET Framework/.NET Core, SQL, and experience with AWS and Node.js. The ideal candidate should have hands-on development expertise and a solid understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance systems, workflows, and data models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise web applications using React, .NET Core, .NET Framework, and Node.js.
  • Design and implement backend services, APIs, and microservices architectures.
  • Develop SQL queries, stored procedures, and data access layers using ADO.NET and Dapper.
  • Work closely with business teams and product owners within the P&C Insurance domain to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Build responsive UI components using React, Angular, or Aurelia.
  • Deploy applications in AWS cloud environments using services such as Lambda, S3, API Gateway, RDS, or ECS.
  • Ensure clean coding standards, design patterns, and performance optimization.
  • Troubleshoot issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement system fixes.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily standups, code reviews, retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 6 12+ years of full-stack development experience.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in:
    • Frontend: React (preferred), or Angular/Aurelia
    • Backend: .NET Framework and .NET Core
    • Database: SQL, ADO.NET, Dapper
    • Cloud: AWS services (application deployment, serverless, APIs)
    • Node.js for API or microservice development
  • Solid understanding of P&C Insurance processes, including underwriting, claims, policy admin, billing, or rating.
  • Experience building scalable, secure, enterprise-grade applications.
  • Strong debugging, optimization, and performance-tuning skills.
  • Excellent communication and ability to collaborate in an onsite environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with microservices and REST API design.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.).
  • Exposure to modern DevOps practices and containerization (Docker, ECS/EKS).
  • Experience with P&C systems like Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco, etc.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
