We serve as innovation and design stakeholders to Human Capital and our partners in Tech to fuel a culture of evidence-based decision-making. As an Employee Survey Strategist (Contractor) , you'll play a critical role in helping Human Capital leaders, business stakeholders, and executives collect, understand, and act on employee sentiment and feedback. Your expertise will inform decisions that strengthen engagement, shape culture, and drive business success.
In this role, you'll collaborate with Analytics Business Partners, Business Intelligence Analysts, People Research Scientists, and others to design and implement a comprehensive Listening Strategy within KKR's newly formed People Analytics function. From building and deploying surveys to creating actionable reports and advising leaders on results, your work will directly influence our Human Capital strategy and goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Project Management & Coordination
- Oversee end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of employee surveys.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to align survey goals and communications.
- Monitor risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Vendor Management
- Serve as primary contact with survey vendors for design, deployment, and reporting.
- Ensure deliverables meet quality, timeline, and compliance standards.
- Validate survey builds, dashboards, data extracts, and reports.
- Support vendor relationship management, contracts, budgets, and renewals.
- Survey Design & Administration
- Define survey goals, item design, and target audiences.
- Build, test, and deploy surveys using Qualtrics, Perceptyx, or Culture Amp.
- Manage distribution lists, invitations, and reminders.
- Ensure accessibility and compliance with data privacy standards.
- Data & Reporting
- Partner with analytics teams to ensure accurate data capture and reporting.
- Validate data quality before release.
- Create clear, actionable reports, dashboards, and scorecards.
- Support post-survey debriefs and action planning sessions.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as primary contact for survey-related inquiries.
- Enable and guide stakeholders on survey best practices and results interpretation.
- Align survey efforts with organizational priorities and cultural values.
- Develop and present actionable recommendations to leaders.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, HR/Business Analytics, or related field.
- 7+ years in survey research (preferably in financial services), with at least 2 years of applied experience (i.e., implementation) across the employee lifecycle (candidate, onboarding, engagement, inclusion, exit) and/or 360 feedback.
- Hands-on experience with Qualtrics, Perceptyx, Culture Amp, or similar tools.
- Experience designing and interpreting multi-country surveys with cultural sensitivity.
- Strong organizational and project management skills; ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools (e.g., Asana, Smartsheet, Jira).
- Excellent presentation, communication, and storytelling skills-able to translate data into meaningful narratives and actionable insights for executives.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, HR/Business Analytics, or related field.
- Strong statistical background (regression, factor analysis, segmentation); fluency in R, Python, SPSS, or Stata. Experience integrating survey results with other workforce data.

- Exceptional Communication Skills: Ability to work directly with the business to define requirements, and support outcomes.
- Survey Design & Development: Skilled in creating clear, actionable, business-relevant surveys (e.g., onboarding, exit, engagement).
- Dashboarding & Reporting: Proficient in visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or internal BI). Adept at distilling findings into concise, executive-ready insights and linking results to strategic actions.
- Stakeholder Management: Ability to translate technical design into practical recommendations for HR and business leaders; skilled at advising senior executives on appropriate use of surveys.
- Project Management: Skilled in setting up scalable survey processes; ability to manage timelines across multiple regions and business units.
- Connecting the Dots: Use a broad range of tools, methodologies, and systems thinking to identify problems, generate new ideas, and solve issues.
- Critical Thinking: Break down complex concepts into manageable issues, synthesize data, and provide insights and recommendations.
- Good Judgment: Handle sensitive, confidential information with care and discern when client demands require bespoke versus standardized reporting.
