Role Summary
1. Assess the client s current SharePoint environment,
2. Recommend and design improvements to architecture, governance, and collaboration models, strategic consulting, architectural design, governance leadership, and delivery oversight.
3. Oversee implementation of approved changes to deliver a secure, efficient, and compliant digital workspace.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the existing SharePoint Online / on-prem environment configuration, security, and information architecture.
Identify gaps and pain points in collaboration, document management, and workflow processes.
Develop a target-state architecture and improvement roadmap, aligned with the client s compliance and operational needs.
Design enhanced governance, taxonomy, and content lifecycle frameworks for accounting/audit workflows.
Oversee implementation of approved improvements coordinating with client IT and vendor teams to ensure delivery excellence.
Integrate SharePoint with Teams, OneDrive, Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) to enhance user productivity.
Define and document migration and change-management strategies.
Provide executive updates, technical documentation, and training to client stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
10 + years of total IT experience, with 8 + years in SharePoint architecture and consulting.
Proven experience in SharePoint Online modernization, optimization, and governance framework design.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Teams, OneDrive, Power Platform, and Azure AD integration.
Hands-on proficiency in PnP, SPFx, PowerShell, and migration tools (e.g., Sharegate, Metalogix).
Experience implementing security, DLP, MFA, and compliance controls in regulated industries (preferably finance / audit).
Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
Microsoft certifications (MS-600, MS-700, or M365 Architect) preferred.
