Description

We are looking for a dedicated Help Desk Analyst to join our team in Monroe County, New York. In this role, you will provide essential IT support to a wide network of users across multiple locations, ensuring smooth operation and resolution of technical issues. This position offers an opportunity to work collaboratively, troubleshoot complex problems, and contribute to maintaining a secure and efficient IT environment.

Responsibilities:

Deliver first-level technical support to end users, addressing hardware, software, and network-related issues.

Follow established procedures to diagnose and resolve technical problems, escalating more complex issues as needed.

Administer user accounts, reset passwords, and support standard applications such as Microsoft 365.

Perform routine system updates and maintenance tasks under supervision.

Configure, image, and install computer systems at various sites as directed by management.

Document solutions to common issues and update the knowledge base for future reference.

Communicate promptly and professionally with users, ensuring excellent customer service.

Travel to remote locations to troubleshoot, repair, and install IT systems as required.

Monitor network systems to identify outages, backup errors, or other issues and take proactive measures.

Report potential cybersecurity threats, such as data breaches or malware activity, to senior IT staff.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience providing desktop support in a Microsoft network environment.
Associate's Degree in Information Technology or a related field is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office 365 applications.
Familiarity with Active Directory and O365 administration.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively.
Physical ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work in confined spaces when necessary.
Reliable transportation for travel to remote locations as part of job responsibilities.
