IT Business Analyst, D365 Finance

• Serve as the primary Functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) across all aspects of Dynamics 365 Finance, including system configuration, user requirements, and system upgrades.
• Act as the functional ERP owner for all finance processes, serving as the crucial liaison between technical teams and finance business stakeholders.
• Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of D365 Finance solutions, playing a key role in defining problem statements, evaluating options, and recommending strategic solutions.
• Create detailed design and process artifacts, including specifications, and meticulously implement solutions according to plan.
• Coordinate all testing processes with the business team, including test cases and integrations with critical systems like OANDA and SKGlobal Treasury Automation Suite.
• Drive knowledge transfer and training initiatives, empowering business teams to maximize their use of D365 Finance and adapt to evolving global financial landscapes.
• Collaborate closely with business team members to develop innovative solutions that directly address and solve complex business challenges.
• Manage the full lifecycle of functional activities, from requirement gathering and fitment analysis to functional design, integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT) support, and hyper care.
• Identify existing inefficiencies, pinpoint improvement opportunities, and define critical differentiating business requirements to continually enhance the D365 Finance environment.
• Lead the review of all business cases for new features within Microsoft releases and for internal new requests, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Champion regression testing for all finance-related functionalities with new code releases, maintaining system stability and integrity.
• Contribute to the technology roadmap for the organization's Dynamics ecosystem, influencing future strategic decisions.
• Document and cross-train team members for seamless support continuity, enhancing overall team capabilities.

• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in D365 F&O/SCM Finance implementation and support.
• Deep functional expertise across key D365 Finance modules, with an emphasis on General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Fixed Assets, Consolidation/Elimination, Banking, Inventory Costing, Landed Cost, Budgeting, Finance Reporter, and Tax modules.
• Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

• Exceptional analytical and communication skills, capable of translating complex financial processes into technical requirements and explaining technical concepts to business users.
• Demonstrated ability to manage requirement gathering, perform fitment analysis, and design robust functional solutions.
• Experience in leading and supporting integration functional testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Strong understanding of identifying inefficiencies, potential improvement opportunities, and critical differentiating business requirements.
• A commitment to compliance with published corporate standards and best practices.
