Description

SAIC is seeking a top-notch Facilities Systems Engineer to join our talented team in Chantilly, VA. This role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.

This position is responsible for the maintenance and creation of policy documents, determining opportunities for process improvement across the organization, contributing to the organization's communication strategy, and supporting leadership.

In this role you will support the Facilities Support Group Front Office and coordinate with all Divisions, Centers, and Mission Ground Stations reporting to the Chief/Facilities Support Group. You will be responsible for:
  • Ensuring the policy documents of the office are coordinated, up-to-date, and accurately reflect the existing business processes of the office;
  • Working across the organization to identify opportunities for improved efficiency and effectiveness;
  • Supporting Organizational Leadership in developing and executing a communication plan; and
  • Helping to manage the functions of the Front Office.

Qualifications
  • Requires an active/current TS/SCI with Polygraph.
  • 5+ years professional experience with a Bachelor's degree in related technical area or equivalent experience.
  • Experience editing and writing reports/documents.
  • Demonstrated experience creating, reviewing and maintaining documentation for both technical and end-user audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster collaborative relationships, encourage teamwork, and promote cooperation.
  • Ability to coordinate and synthesize information from multiple sources.
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically and strategically - Must possess diplomatic, tactful, and strong interpersonal and professional skills to resolve difficult issues.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office software (i.e., PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project and SharePoint).
