Role: Mainframe Developer w/ IMS & DB
Work Location: Wilmington, DE (Onsite from day one, Minimum 3 days onsite per week)
Position Type: Contract / Full Time

Key responsibilities of a mainframe developer include:
- Developing and maintaining applications for mainframe systems.
- Writing code, testing it, and working with other developers to ensure proper functioning.
- Utilizing technologies like COBOL, IMS, and DB2.
- Design, development, and technical troubleshooting of multiple components within a technical product, application, or system.
- Possible work with CICS web services and Rest API.
- Knowledge in Mainframe utilities such as File-Aid, Expeditor, SORT, REXX, and SAS.
- Exposure to cloud technologies is a plus.
To be successful in these roles, candidates may need:
- Experience with mainframe systems and related technologies.
- Skills in programming languages like COBOL, and potentially other languages like Python, Java, or Unix Shell Scripting.
