About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned AWS Connect Architect to join our Center of Excellence (COE) team. This role is ideal for a hands-on cloud architect with deep experience in AWS infrastructure, cloud-native applications, and infrastructure automation. You will lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives, enforce best practices, and collaborate across DevOps, engineering, and security teams to deliver scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Architect and implement complex cloud solutions using AWS services, including AWS Connect.
Lead cloud migration and infrastructure modernization projects across enterprise platforms.
Develop and enforce best practices for cloud security, cost management, and performance optimization.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud environments using AWS-native and third-party tools.
Collaborate with DevOps, development, and security teams to support cloud-native applications.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and cross-functional teams.
Stay current with AWS innovations and recommend adoption of relevant technologies.
Required Skills & Experience
8+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with a strong focus on AWS.
Proven experience with AWS Connect, CloudFormation, Service Catalog, and Terraform.
Deep understanding of cloud computing, cloud migration strategies, and cloud security frameworks.
Strong background in DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with performance tuning, cost optimization, and monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, AppDynamics).
Hands-on experience with native cloud applications and event-driven architectures.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Financial Services experience is highly preferred.
Nice to Have
AWS Certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer)
Experience with HashiCorp tools, Kafka, or other messaging/event platforms
Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in financial services
